Fornalutx, my hotel Sa Tanqueta by day and night, me at breakfast.
Work hard and party hard, but don’t forget to rest sometimes, my team mate Marcus says. So it was time for a break from everyday work life with some 14-15 hours working days and many travels in Europe, because my last „2 week holiday“ was back in 2001 in Pornichet/France.
This time I went to a small hotel called „Sa Tanqueta“ (Sant Bernat, S/N, 07109 Fornalutx) mountain village Fornalutx in Majorca. This hotel has 14 individually appointed apartments in a modern ambiance with a terrace with a glorious view over the Tramuntana mountains. Beside my hotel I also saw 3 other hotels in the village; Hotel Ca’n Verdera, Hotel Rural Ca’n Reus and Petit Hotel – but I am sure that Sa Tanqueta is the best one :o)
Anecdote: In the evening I had dinner in a small restaurant „Es Turó“. The food was really tasty and at the end I ordered a dessert „fruits of the season“ – I got an apple on a dish and cutlery for 2,50 Euro :o)
