Ampelmann, green Trabant, DDR and blue Trabant.
It’s a little bit strange, but also some how funny to see some pieces of the “old” East Germany – Deutsche Demokratische Republik (DDR) in German and German Democratic Republic (GDR) in English – walking around the streets in Leipzig. You can find stores with typical household article from the GDR, cars like the Trabant and the ”Ampelmännchen“.
