<h2>Strategische Frage in der Internetindustrie</h2>
<p>Auf Einladung von Prof. Dr. <strong><a title="Gotthward Pietsch" href="https://www.xing.com/profile/Gotthard_Pietsch/" target="_blank">Gotthard Pietsch</a></strong> habe ich heute eine Präsentation zu &#8220;Strategic Questions in the Context of the Mobile Social Network Business&#8221; im Rahmen der Vorlesung &#8220;Marketing und E-Business&#8221; an der <a title="digitale medien hs furtwangen" href="http://www.dm.hs-furtwangen.de" target="_blank">Fakultät Digitale Medien</a> an der <a title="hochschule furtwangen" href="http://www.hs-furtwangen.de" target="_blank">Hochschule Furtwangen</a> gehalten. In meinem Vortrag bin ich, nach einigen Worten zu unserem Unternehmen, auf drei strategische Entscheidungen (hinsichtlich Technologie, Kunden und Märkte) eingegangen, die wir in unserer 10-jährigen Firmengeschichte getroffen haben. Wichtig war es mir, den Entscheidungsprozess allgemein aufzuzeigen und dabei die Herausforderungen einer Entscheidungsfindung in interdisziplinären Teams, bei unfertigen Produkten und wachsenden Märkten aufzuzeigen. Im zweiten Teil des Vortrages habe ich drei für uns aktuelle Fragestellungen (rechtliche Rahmenbedingungen im Web 2.0 und kritische Masse) aufgezeigt und mit den rund 80 Studierenden über Handlungsoptionen und Entscheidungskonsequenzen diskutiert.</p>

The Speed networking session was also quite fun, but for networking the Get2Gether Party in the <a href="http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kursalon_H%C3%BCbner" target="_blank">Kursalon</a> at the <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wiener_Stadtpark" target="_blank">Viennese City Park</a> with a Viennese Night Buffet and Free Drinks was definitely better :o)</p>

<p>The topic of mobile web 2.0 applications is one of the hottest right now and we have all heard that communities are the key to customer loyalty, product credibility and state-of-the-art customer orientation. The question remains, how do I build a successful community around a specific topic and what factors are essential to leverage the potential? The workshop aims to be as spontaneous as possible thus focussing on the audience’s needs when trying to build an even more compelling mobile offering or to start from scratch with a mobile UGC service:</p>

<p>Today I spoke about &#8220;Mobile Web 2.0 &#8211; Media hype or Reality?&#8221; on the <a title="CeBIT future talk" href="http://www.cebit.de/41912" target="_blank">CeBIT future talk</a> in the <a title="CeBIT future parc" href="http://www.cebit.de/futureparc_e" target="_blank">CeBIT future parc</a>. And again&#8230; I found 4 (!) people in the audience that don&#8217;t have a cell phone &#8211; one of them told me that he didn&#8217;t have enough friends for a mobile phone (?). Maybe I will go there as a blog beginner to learn from the professionals :o)</p>

Die Möglichkeiten und die Vorteile von real live on phone) and <strong>Alexander Repty</strong> from carmunity (&#8220;Vom Webmaster zum erfolgreichen WAP-Master&#8221;).</p>

<h2>Trends on Mobile Payment and Mobile Marketing</h2>
<p>The <a title="Konferenz Mobile Commerce " href="http://www.mcta.de" target="_blank">MCTA</a> 2007 in Augsburg / Germany was a interesting event with the focus on <a title="Mobile Payment" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mobile_Payment" target="_blank">Mobile Payment</a> and <a title="Mobile Marketing" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mobile_Marketing" target="_blank">Mobile Marketing</a>. The title of my lecture was &#8220;The Value of a Mobile Community for Marketing Research &#8211; Fallbeispiele aus der Unterhaltungs- und Konsumgüterbranche&#8221;. It was a presentation with ideas how to extend existing web and mobile sites with <a title="peperonity.com - the mobile community" href="http://peperonity.com" target="_blank">peperonity.com</a> community elements and use new opportunities in Mobile Marketing. Other speaker in my session &#8220;Mobile Marketing: Deutschland iminternationalen Vergleich&#8221; were <strong>Roland Tauchner</strong>, executive member of the Mobile Marketing Association Austria with a lecture about &#8220;Status Quo, Potential und Risiken von Mobile Marketing&#8221; and <strong>Frank Tausendfreund</strong>, Senior New Business Manager Mobile Marketing at mindmatics with a lecture titled &#8220;M-Loyalty &#8211; von der Kundenakquise in die Kundenbindung durch mobile Dienste&#8221;. Notable is the fact that also Mobile Marketing Service Provider are starting to offer Mobile Community Services. I have to extend my competition analysis :o)</p>
